Angus Council’s Local Community Planning Team recently organised a community meeting in the Legion Hall to discuss the results of the Community Appraisal. Most of the village should have been visited by the team. At this meeting the main issues which you identified in the Appraisal were discussed and agreed that a small number of specific issues would be taken forward.
The Local Community Planning Team agreed to get more information on a few of these issues and report back to a further discussion. This will take place on Wednesday 14 November at 6.30pm, again in the Legion Hall and it would be great to see folk there.
In addition, during the Community Appraisal, a number of members of the community said that they would like to report concerns, raise issues and potentially get involved in community activity, but did not know how to do so. As a result, a simple guide about “How to Get Your Voice Heard” has been produced.
